Anchor Ashore is one of newest condo complexes at the beach. With it's newer amenities Anchor Ashore Condos are a luxurious option for your stay at the beach!

Ocean Shores is a six mile long peninsula bordered by the Pacific Ocean and Grays Harbor. Named the "richest little city", it's 4,000 residents welcome over 3 million people yearly making it the most visited seaside location on the Washington Coast.

What makes it so popular?!

Maybe it's the fact that you can drive and go horseback riding right on the beach! Or maybe it's all of the fun activities available! Rent mopeds, paddle boats, bikes, or go kite flying, boating, surfing, fishing, clamming, or shopping at local spots.

You have to check out places like Flying Cats Gift Shoppe (a quaint local shop right off of Ocean Shores Blvd steps from the Beach.) They make beautiful custom soaps with different scents and translucent colors with cool designs inside, their VERY OWN coffee, yummy gourmet foods(many kosher), and beautiful décor for your home. Ocean shores is also known for it's many antique shops!

With six miles of sandy beaches the ocean is the main attraction, but there is much more to do! There is exciting entertainment, family activities, restaurants and golf. More than 250 species of birds are found during the year and deer roam the City neighborhoods. Damon Point State Park (also known as Protection Island) is a one mile jut of land that gives safe haven to many species of birds and wildlife including baby seals. Located at the end of the point is the remains of the Catala, Ocean Shore’s most famous shipwreck. It’s an excellent place to spend the day.

Ocean Shores Golf Course offers some of the best greens in the State. They are all elevated and maintained at a very brisk speed in comparison to most public facilities. ( A fun fact: Pat Boone became a resident in 1967 as a stockholder in the Ocean Shores Estates Corporation and soon began promoting celebrity golf tournaments. Twelve more holes were added during this time.)

Bet you didn't know there are two fresh water lakes, 23 miles of canals and an old growth rain forest in the middle of the City! A key find - the Weatherwax Property: Wander through trails in this 120-acre old growth forest.

There are also bowling alleys, go-karts, bumper boats and great restaurants. For a good pint try Galway Bay Irish Restaurant & Pub. Regulars rave about the traditional Irish food, the incredible Irish music and the fine staff. Las Maracas is a Mexican place that has great food. Sticking true to a seaside vacation-Mike's Seafood is a favorite. And if it's fine dining for your sweetie, try Emily's at the Quinault Beach Resort.
